So this is it, I see, this is the end,
It's impossible to hope for repair,
Looks like we're no longer friends,
My heart now has more pain to bear.

In quiet times I tend to reminisce,
Missing all the good times we had,
Our friendship gave me such bliss,
And I knew that I made you glad,
It's depressing my present isn't this,
But at least in my past I'm not sad.

I can't forget what you had once told me,
"I do think about you...wonder how you are,"
Now I wonder at times about you, you see,
How happy your life is with me gone afar,
Do I ever cross your mind though, maybe?
Memory of me is probably lost with the stars.

What changed us from friends to foes?
Was it you, or me, what broke us apart?
Since I can't ask, I guess I'll never know...
I will miss you, but you'll be in my heart.

Not really much to say about this poem, honestly, I'm not totally proud of this one, I have done better works, but I have been wanting to write this one for a really long time, this poem actually is about a couple of people from my past, but Lisa was the person that had indirectly given me the inspiration to write this. I did actually use a quote of what she told me once, I had to cut it a little to fit the poem, that was hard to work with, but I really wanted to use it, since it sticks with me...Well anyways, hope you guys enjoy it, don't be too harsh, unless you need to be. ^^;

It's strong and honest, and holds that sadness that we all hold when we are no longer friends with those people we loved and cherished. Nicely wrote.

It actually hit home with me...
I had been through something just like that...
Great job...;)

Thanks, I did try hard with this one. But I think the worst part is that the person that this poem's about will probably never see this. Ah well, right? Just gotta keep smiling. :)
