'It is time,' the warrior thinks, 'This must be done.'
Pondering his next mission to save everyone.
Still contemplating, his best friend joins him at his side.
'Why do you choose to do this?' the best friend cried,
'Don't you realize that if you go, it will mean your end?
'I beg of you to please reconsider leaving, my friend.'

The warrior replies, 'Yes, I realize the dangers I face.'
'I still intend to go, even if Death awaits me in that place.'
'I don't want to be thought of going to die, you see.'
'I'd rather be thought about by others being happy.'

'I want the good things I've done for others to always live on,'
'Even in sad times, remember that my strength was never gone.'
'I want everyone to be happy and enjoy life even if I've gone away.'
'I cared for and enjoyed being with everyone every single day.'
'I don't want to be remembered leaving this world with any fear.'
'I want to be thought of going into darkness with a smile so clear.'

'Thank you for being my friend,' the warrior says, 'I must go.'
'I was glad to be it,' he replies. 'We will meet again, I know.'
He went to his end and looked back at what he was there for,  
Before leaving this world forever, he smiled once more.
